[dropcap]T[/dropcap]here is a game you can play,
when your friends have gone away.
It’s an easy thing to do;
nothing will be right for you.
It’s called:    Contra word

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hatever action you do take,
the opposite you must make.
So if you decide to stand inline,
sitting down will be your sign.
Or you pay a forfeit.

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ay good-bye when you mean hello.
Come right back when you should to go.
Whisper when you need to shout.
Keep quite still for turn about.
Confusing, isn’t it?

[dropcap]D[/dropcap]o you like this little sport?
No good getting over-wrought.
Shed some tears if you are glad;
smile a lot when you are sad.
That’s the idea.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]nother thing you might try,
is crouch down low to stand up high.
Turn to the left when going right.
Sleep in the day; work in the night.
Watch what you’re doing.

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ad enough of silly game?
Has it become far too tame?
Prepare to start, when you want to finish.
Write in letters big, and then diminish.
Then nobody can read the last word
